We are searching for an outstanding, people-oriented candidate to join our work family! Top applicants will have a positive, can-do attitude, strong communication skills, and a passion for serving the needs of pet owners. This position will include time both at our front desk as a receptionist and with our patient care team as an assistant. A minimum of two years of experience in the veterinary industry is preferred.

Customer Service: Our receptionists provide the first and last impressions of our hospital and are instrumental in managing client requests and appointment flow. This exceptionally important role requires team members to juggle phone calls, emails, messaging, and face-to-face communications while ensuring thorough, accurate documentation and invoicing. Receptionists must understand the basics of veterinary medicine so they can appropriately schedule doctor visits, fill medications, and educate our clients.

Patient Care: Our assistants support the needs of our doctors and technicians by restraining patients, prepping lab samples, vaccines, and prescriptions, charting, tending to hospitalized and surgical patients, and keeping our hospital neat and tidy. An excellent assistant who is always thinking ahead and anticipating the needs of team members and patients allows our hospital to function at its highest level. Assistants are asked to also fill hours in our grooming salon, helping the groomer by bathing, drying, and restraining pets during their spa day.

Full-time benefits include: paid time off, discounted veterinary care, a wellness stipend, 401K match, continuing education and uniform allowances, bonus opportunities, and most importantly…the advantage of working in a caring and supportive environment with teammates who become part of your family.
