Safe surgical cesarean section.
C-Section
In addition to pre-partum wellness care to ensure healthy gestation, we can provide surgical cesarean section (c-section) for safe delivery. Cesarean section delivery is advised for brachycephalic breeds (e.g., French and English bulldogs, Boston terriers, pugs, Persians) as well as dogs or cats who have experienced whelping complications with previous litters. C-section delivery prevents potentially life-threatening distress to mother and litter and allows us to provide immediate attention (e.g., supplementary oxygen, stimulation, clear breathing passages) to neonates.
