Since periodontal disease takes place below the gumline, anesthetized dental cleanings are the only effective way to remove plaque and tartar buildup and prevent painful tooth decay, infection, and bone loss. Prior to anesthesia, we ensure your pet is healthy with a full physical exam and blood work. Our dental cleaning includes full-mouth dental X-rays and careful assessment of the entire oral cavity.
